Client Manager

The TFCC Alert system (formerly known as the Universal Communications System) provides users with a flexible, web-based communication/notification/mapping tool. The TFCC Alert team is looking for a 1qualified individual with at least 3 years of customer relationship experience to bring on as a Client Manager.

The TFCC Alert Cleint Manager is the primary point of contact for TFCC Alert clients and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the client account. This includes, but is not limited to, issue resolution, definition of specifications based on client requirements, product demonstrations for sales, training and testing/implementation of client-specific features.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with very storng customer relationship experience who possesses a proven ability to manage multiple projects while interfacing with both technical and non-technical staff. Attention to detail, the desire to interface with customers daily, and the ability to write strong documentation are also desired. Must be proficient in MS Wrod and Excel. Some travel required. Software Engineer

TFCC is seeking a Software Engineer in the Columbus, Ohio area for full-time employment to support development of TFCC’s Universal Communications System (UCS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Apache, HTML, Perl, Javascript, Java, SQL, Web Services, XML, SVN
  • Experience with Unix/Linux command line environment
  • Experience with ESRI products and APIs (ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE) a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage/meet competing deadlines
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work well in a team environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test and document new code in support of the UCS product line
  • Maintain and configure existing software systems
  • Provide after-hours support of software systems
  • Provide regular communication of project / task status to team project leader
  • Participate on calls and in meetings with clients
