Founded in 1935, APCO is a member-driven association of communications professionals that provides leadership, influences public safety communications decisions of government and industry, promotes professional development and fosters the development and use of technology for the benefit of the public.

The United States General Services Administration’s mission is to “help federal agencies better serve the public by offering, at best value, superior workplaces, expert solutions, acquisition services and management policies.”


HGAC

H-GAC is the regional organization through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems. Local governments in the 13-county service region initiate efforts in anticipating and preventing problems, saving public funds.


IAEM Logo

International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters. IAEM serves its members by providing information, networking and professional opportunities, and advancing the emergency management profession.

NEMA Logo

Founded in 1974, NEMA is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) association dedicated to enhancing public safety by improving the nations ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from all emergencies, disasters, and threats to our nation’s security.


NENA Logo

NENA’s Mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system (9-1-1). In carrying out its mission, NENA promotes research, planning, training and education.


TARC Logo

TARC was organized in 1973 by interlocal agreement among Texas’ 24 regional councils of governments. TARC assists regional councils in strengthening their capabilities to serve their local government members and provides a forum for the regular exchange of information and ideas.
