TFCC Congratulates Florida Power and Light, Winner of the ServiceOne Award

Columbus, Ohio:  Twenty First Century Communications is proud to be a service provider to Florida Power and Light (FP&L), 5-year winner of the prestigious ServiceOne Award.

Since March 1, 2000, TFCC has provided Florida Power and Light with High Volume Call Answering (HVCA), a patented interactive Voice response (IVR) application that receives FP&L’s overflow customer calls during power outages and other emergencies.

HVCA enables FP&L’s customers to reach the utility and report their outage by phone, even when thousands of other customers are calling at the same time. It helps the utility gain an accurate view of the outage footprint, deploy restoration crews quickly, and give the customers estimated restoration times.

The ServiceOne Award is given annually by PA Consulting Group, a worldwide management, systems and technology consulting firm. It is based on criteria that cover nearly all of the functional areas within customer service for a typical North American utility, including the contact center, billing, payment, credit and collections, meter reading and safety.
