TFCC Welcomes A. Bently Collier, VP of Sales & Marketing

Columbus, Ohio:  Twenty First Century Communications (TFCC) is pleased to welcome A. Bently Collier as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Collier will lead the TFCC Sales and Marketing operations, where he will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s multi-segment sales strategies.

Twenty First Century Communications is a Columbus based Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, offering a suite of web-based communications solutions for high-speed notification. TFCC’s applications range from utility outage reporting to business continuity and mass public notification.

TFCC provides its signature utility service, High Volume Call Answering (VHCA), to more than 80 electric utilities – covering 70% of American households across the United States. HVCA also serves 6.5 million meters in the United Kingdom (50%) as well as several Canadian utilities. Its emergency notification systems are in use by over 150 organizations nationwide.

With a host of high-profile and government clients, and a proven track record of relentless reliability, Twenty First Century Communications is a nationally recognized leader in the crisis communications industry. Collier joints the company in its 19th year, during a period of exceptional growth in every area from gross revenues to market share to human resources. He will forge new alliances, grow the company’s services to clients, and expand TFCC’s national and international footprint.

Mr. Collier joins Twenty First Century, after having spent seven years with AT&T in several sales leadership roles. In his latest position with AT&T, Collier led sales teams for AT&T Global Business Services, providing complex business solutions to national and multi-national enterprise customers.

Bently began his communications career with Internet Service Provider (ISP) pioneer UUNET, one of the oldest and largest ISPs, today an international brand of Verizon Business. He served as UUNET’s Channel Manager, negotiating and developing national and regional channel partner relationships to provide Application Service Providers (ASP) and Enterprise Software companies delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) over the UUNET global IP backbone.

Bently is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He has received numerous awards for excellence and achievement from his employers.
